Our member organisation, the Network of European LGBTIQ* Families Associations (NELFA), has published its response to the European Commission’s new LGBTIQ Equality Strategy.
This Common Reference Framework for safe and inclusive activities is intended to provide a structured set of principles, standards, guidelines, and processes that provide a shared understanding and consistent approach for achieving goals, solving problems, or managing activities across the organisation. It acts as a blueprint or foundation for how COFACE operates in all its activities and how it works with key external organisations.
In response to the European Commission’s announcement of the first-evet EU Anti-Poverty Strategy, due for early 2026, a diverse group of civil society organisations has come together to demand for ambition, coherence and action.
With 120+ participants from 27 countries (including our COFACE penguins who joined us given the big focus on parental equality), we had rich discussions focusing on challenges persisting for families of today across Europe and beyond, we discussed public policy solutions as well as good practices in the workplace.
