Call for COFACE communication and events intern – 10 months

COFACE Families Europe is looking for a Communication and events intern from March to December 2025

COFACE Families Europe is a pluralistic network of family organisations representing the interest of all types of families in Europe, without discrimination. We are a membership-based non-governmental organisation which works in partnership with the European Commission through an operating grant of the EaSI programme and we build bridges between research and policy through the Horizon Europe programme. 

Internship Summary   

The Communication and Events intern will join the COFACE secretariat in Brussels, Belgium, from March to December 2025 working closely all team members, but especially those responsible for communication and events.

Main internship tasks 

  • Communication strategy support;
  • Writing and publishing articles on the COFACE website, using wordpress;  
  • Website management
  • Support in the editing of newsletters (Families Corner) using Mailchimp;
  • Creating graphic content  (e.g. with canva) for different projects and activities;
  • Social media work on the key platforms where COFACE is present, monitoring and posting regularly;  
  • Support organising a multi-stakeholder research conference and meetings;   
  • Attendance of relevant EU meetings and COFACE meetings;

Offer 

  • Based in Brussels, Belgium (the future intern will have to be resident in Belgium) 
  • Contract: Full-time Contrat d’Immersion Professionnelle under Belgian law. 
  • Income around 1035 euros/month plus monthly lunch vouchers, telework bursary, transport bursary

  • Deadline for applications: 31st January 2025
  • Interviews will take place the week of 3rd February 2025 at the COFACE office or online. 
  • Preferred starting date: 3rd March 2025
