A new working paper from Paths2Include has just been released. The working paper is called; Mapping labour market attachment among vulnerable groups in European countries: health-related and intersectional barriers before and after COVID-19 pandemic.
In this event opened by European Parliament President, Roberta Metsola, COFACE Families Europe brought the perspective of families to the discussion, namely in a panel on Working together to Support the Well-being of Teens Online.
In December 2024, the EPSCO Council adopted conclusions on “strengthening women’s and girls’ mental health by promoting gender equality.” They contain a strong family dimension.
As part of the European Semester, the Joint Employment Report 2025 emphasises that participation in ECEC under three is improving but at a very low pace, calling for renewed efforts in line with the European Child Guarantee, the European Care Strategy and the Council Recommendation on ECEC.
