A COFACE Families Europe member, The Isadora Duncan Foundation organized the 1st Global Symposium on Single-Parent Families, which took place in the city of León.
The European Parliament has adopted a report on the EU Disability Strategy post-2025. The text was adopted on 27 November 2025. It includes a chapter on families.
This year’s annual COFACE Disability platform meeting aimed to bring together COFACE members and external partners to share diverse insights and experiences related to the inclusive transition of care services for persons with disabilities. It was hosted by Unapei in Paris.
In February 2023, Parliament approved the creation of a public health subcommittee. In December 2024, Parliament’s political group leaders decided to upgrade its status to a standing committee. The SANT Committee will deal with programmes and specific actions in the field of public health.

For the release of the French movie titled “Mon Inséparable”, Elisabeth Lammers, vice-president of Unapei (a COFACE Disability Platform member organisation), was invited on the radio channel, France Inter. Alongside the lead actor and director, Elisabeth Lammers stressed Unapei's commitment to empowering people with disabilities.
In May 2022, the EU Commission proposed the European Child Sexual Abuse Regulation (CSA-R), to prevent and combat child sexual abuse. This proposal is currently the subject of debate at both European and national level and in its comment paper, AGF highlights remarks on specific measures within the EU Commission proposal.

COFACE’s member “Youth of Diverse Families” participated to International Conference for Single Parents that took place in November 2024 in Budapest, Hungaryand later shared their insights in an interview, reflecting on the key takeaways from the event.
COFACE Spanish member, Isadora Duncan Foundation organised its 10th Conference on Family Financial Education and Energy Poverty Prevention which aimed at providing information and offering solutions on family financial management, over-indebtedness, and the prevention of energy poverty situations in households and the general population.
