PATHS2INCLUDE – Providing policy recommendations for promoting inclusive labour markets

Text, title - Paving the way for inclusive labour markets under the European Pillar of Social Rights.

PATHS2INCLUDE, a Horizon Europe research project with COFACE as a consortium member, has released a new EU policy brief on Paving the way for inclusive labour markets under the European Pillar of Social Rights.

The European Pillar of Social Rights consists of 20 principles guiding us towards a strong social Europe that is fair, inclusive and full of opportunity. In the Action Plan accompanying the Pillar, the European Commission commits to raising the employment rate to at least 78% of the working-age population by improving access for underrepresented groups.

The PATHS2INCLUDE policy brief aims to fill in gaps in data by identifying barriers to the labour market participation of groups in vulnerable situations. Based on the research findings, the authors provide key recommendations for both EU-level actions (policy, data and funding) as well as national and sub-national actions, with the ultimate aim to implement the European Pillar of Social Rights principles and make labour markets more inclusive in policy and practice.

This publication is one in a series of policy briefs, summarizing the key PATHS2INCLUDE research findings and providing actionable recommendations for a variety of stakeholders with the aim of creating more inclusive labour markets.
