This webinar will examine how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping care responsibilities, gender equality and women’s participation in the labour market, entrepreneurship and community life. It will use the experience of the Mulheres a Obra network a starting point: a Portuguese community and platform that supports female entrepreneurship, and member of COFACE Families Europe.
As well as generally reflections on the impact of AI on women and care in Portugal, and recommendations for gender-responsive AI policies at national and EU level, practical examples will be used to illustrate the pros and cons of AI.
Additionally, this webinar will dive into the learning from the Erasmus+ project Women Without Borders (WWB) – a European initiative bringing together organisations from Portugal and North Macedonia to empower women through digital skills, entrepreneurship, peer learning and international networking. The project aims to create inclusive learning spaces where women can strengthen their digital competences, expand their professional networks and embrace new opportunities created by technological innovation.
