The 2026 annual COFACE Disability platform meeting will take place in Malta on 19th November.
This year’s meeting will convene COFACE Disability members to explore the evolving needs of families with disabilities and to share best practices at local, national, and European levels.
Key topics include:
- The identification of challenges and gaps hindering the full implementation of the UNCRPD across Europe, with a focus on the family dimension of the UNCRPD;
- A deep dive into the work of NPSPD in Malta, with a focus on inclusive education and disability diversity;
- Spotlights on new member organisations of the COFACE Disability platform
- Updates on national and EU-level developments will be presented, focusing on the new EU Disability Strategy for 2026–2030
