Two Belgian COFACE member organisations collaborated on a survey of large families

Two COFACE member organisations recently collaborated on a shared project. Together Ligue des Familles and Fond du Logement Wallonie, launched a survey to identify the needs of large families.
Families today are increasingly diverse and multiple, and often depending on their (re)composition, the number of children in a household can vary significantly over time, bringing new challenges and needs.

‘Plus-parenting and co-parenting in Belgium and Europe: legal, social and emotional challenges in families.’  This was the title of a study seminar hosted by Liesbet Sommens MEP (member of the European Parliament EMPL committee), attended by COFACE Families Europe in the European Parliament, as well as COFACE members like Gezinsbond and Ligue des familles.
