Raising Awareness on Economic Violence – Spain

Money, a piggy bank and chains

COFACE Families Europe is pleased to share a new initiative from our member organization, Fundación Isadora Duncan for Single-parent families, which has launched a dedicated website to raise awareness about economic violence against women.

The website, Prevención Violencia, provides a wealth of resources, including articles, legislative documentation, tools, and best practices aimed at preventing, detecting, and addressing economic violence. This initiative highlights the often invisible yet deeply impactful nature of financial control and abuse, which disproportionately affects women.

Fundación Isadora Duncan has been working for years to shed light on this form of violence, and this platform represents a significant step toward promoting awareness and fostering action.
